The MCA recognizes the accessibility limitations of our old building. Restorations efforts that address accessibility are on our radar for future renovations. For the time being, if you have accessibility needs please contact montgomerycenterarts@gmail.com with a description of your access request at least 24 hours prior to your visit so that we may arrange accommodations to assist your attendance. We want all community members to have the privaledge to enjoy access to the arts, and will do our best to support your needs.

"It is my opinion that fire should be taught and revered even before an intro to the ABC’s.  This class is geared toward a family setting.  We will go over several different techniques to safely wield fire, including a one match fire without paper, flint and steel, char cloth, tinder bundles, and how our ancestors carried embers in polypore mushrooms.  All skill levels and ages are welcome.

We’ll end with fire related stories around our fire."

Cost: Free

All ages welcome though class is geared toward young adults and up.

Pre-registration is helpful, though not required. Please click the link below to sign-up.
