About
Instructor and outdoor-skills expert Elliot Cluba writes:
"It is my opinion that fire should be taught and revered even before an intro to the ABC’s.  This class is geared toward a family setting.  We will go over several different techniques to safely wield fire, including a one match fire without paper, flint and steel, char cloth, tinder bundles, and how our ancestors carried embers in polypore mushrooms.  All skill levels and ages are welcome.  We’ll end with fire related stories around our fire" and a community potluck. Bring a dish to share and a chair or blanket to sit on.
