The MCA is a volunteer-based organization. The Board of Directors manages oversight of administrative requirements for a 501(c)(3) and maintains building operations. But it is with support from community members that we are able to keep the doors open to the public. There are many ways to volunteer for the MCA.

If you are interested in joining the Board, you can find a description of what those responsibilities look like HERE

You can also help the MCA by volunteering in other capacities:

-- SIGN UP TO BE A GALLERY DOCENT --
this means arriving for a shift to open the doors and welcome visitors when we have a public viewing schedule for an exhibit. (Sign-up HERE.)

-- VOLUNTEER YOUR SKILL SET --
we always need help painting walls, cleaning, hanging exhibits, installing fixtures, etc.

-- PROMOTE EVENTS --
share our social media events on your feed, volunteer to post flyers or help with mailings.

-- TEACH A CLASS --
we are ALWAYS looking for volunteer community leaders to teach a workshop for the public at the MCA. If you have a skill to share with the community, sign up HERE to teach a workshop.

-- ASSIST AT A CLASS --
help with set-up, clean-up, and lend a helping hand at workshops.
