Our youths, males and females alike, are preparing to enter a grand and beautiful, yet dangerous world.  This two part course offers basic, yet extremely effective self defense on the feet as well as on the ground.  Much of the techniques are based in ninjitsu, the ancient martial art of the samurai that has not been adapted to sport of any kind, which means it is quick and to the point of escape, evasion, and efficiency.  I feel this to be one of greatest gifts that could be offered to those coming of age, whether they ever have a need of it or not.  It is better to be a warrior in the garden than a gardener in the war.
