Back By Popular Demand! The MCA is pleased to welcome Justin Sutera and his Folded Bark Basketmaking Workshop.
Learn how to craft with bark from our Northern Forests to create beautiful and functional baskets. We will use spruce, elm, ash, and willow bark to create folded bark baskets with a leather handle. Students will learn about tree identification, harvesting ethically and responsibly, and the necessary skills and principles to create their own bark baskets now and in the future.
