About the event

This will likely be a full day course, though some will finish quicker than others.  We will make a small straight weave basket approximately 4 in x 4 in x 4 in.  We will work with whole, raw birch bark that will need to be cut and prepared for weaving. Come ready for a social, yet focused day learning this ancient skill of those who walked this land long before we did.  Bring your own lunch, snacks, and drink.

Class is limited to 8.

Cost : $90

Scholarships are available for this class. If you need financial support to attend this MCA event, please visit www.montgomerycenterforthearts.com/scholarship-program and fill out the form prior to submitting a registration here.
