Lately, Elliot has observed a growing number of oak tree saplings in the Franklin County woods, signaling the emergence of a nutritious and delicious food source for both wildlife and people. Learn how to convert bitter acorns into a versatile cooking ingredient and how to nurture saplings to promote the oak revolution. The session offers a variety of food samples made with acorn flour.
Elliot Cluba owns Herbs and Arrows and works as a wilderness and primitive skills instructor, holistic health coach, herbalist, and martial arts teacher. He has been educating children from age 4 to teenagers, as well as adults, for 15 years. For 6 of those years, he provided homeschool education to his children and the local community in the Champlain Valley of VT.
