Papermaking Workshop

Join Northwest Vermont Solid Waste District on Saturday, March 29, to try your hand at papermaking. We’ll be turning old scrap paper and junk mail into fresh sheets, recycling paper in the same way that paper mills do but on a small scale. You’ll learn about the pulping process, spend time pulling sheets using a mold and deckle, and connect this process to NWSWD’s own work in Montgomery. Prepare to get splashed on!
