About the event
Local artist Patrick Murphy will instruct you step by step through an original piece of art! At the end of the night you'll take home a one-of-a-kind painting and hopefully a newfound talent!
All supplies, canvas, paint, brushes will be included. But if you have your own brushes please bring them if you would like.
Patrick Murphy: Born in 1952. Originally from Rochester,NY.
Studied and graduated from the Ruskin School of Drawing, Oxford, England where he took a “first” in both Painting, Drawing.
While maintaining a career in art, he was the art teacher at Richford Jr. Sr. High School.
Since retiring from full time teaching, he has continued to instruct adult painting classes.
Along with Art, Murphy is a member of a Bluegrass band, The Missisquoi River Band.
He is married to his wife of 39 years, Darcy, and has two grown children, Colleen and Peter.
