Yoga Classes

Starting Thursday, July 22nd @ 5PM

It’s time to roll out your yoga mat and discover the combination of physical and mental exercises that for thousands of years have hooked yoga practitioners around the globe. The beauty of yoga is that you don’t have to be a yogi or yogini to reap the benefits. Yoga has the power to calm the mind and strengthen the body. Don’t be intimidated by yoga terminology, fancy yoga studios and complicated poses. Yoga is for everyone.

Genevieve Lodal-Guilds offers yoga as a practice of awareness of and relationship between the body, mind, and spirit through breathwork (pranayama), physical posture (asana), and meditation. She trained with Scott Willis at Hits the Spot Yoga in Brattleboro and received her 200 and 500-hour certifications in 2012 and 2015, respectively. She lives in Montgomery Center with her husband, daughters, and furry ones, surrounded by loads of flowers and beauty.

Session Dates: August 7th & 8th, 2021

Time: 10:00 am-3:00pm

Workshop Description:

A pit fire is the oldest known method of firing your pottery, dating back to 29,000 BC! Pit fires involve burying pots underground and feeding a fire on top to reach temperatures around 2000 degrees Fahrenheit.
Come create a piece of pottery through the process Indigenous Americans did for hundreds and thousands of years with Montgomery Vermont Artist Susan Delear of Heart of The Mountains Pottery.

Day two : The Unveiling or the Uncovering of the pottery.
